Traditional conventional porous materials are brittle and deteriorate with repeated use and must be replaced regularly.
However, porous aluminum manufactured by SAKAE Casting is more durable.


Currently, we have an ongoing development project to control the holes in porous aluminum. At the moment, the density can be controlled up to 80%. Since this density has a large effect depending on the intended use, we are testing different densities further.
